How do I sign up for a lesson?

All riders are required to wear cowboy boots or a closed-toed leather boot with at least 1/2inch heel and no high heels. We also ask riders to wear long pants of their choosing.

How do I pay for a lesson?

A time of service with either cash or check. 

Do I need my own horse?

No, you can take lessons on one of our well trained school horses.

Is there a weight limit?

Our current weight limit is 275lbs for male riders & 250lbs for women riders due to horse availability

What kind of lessons are offered?

We offer Western riding lessons; from beginner through advanced riding lessons. 
Including specific skills such as barrel racing, pole bending, keyhole etc. 

Do I need a helmet?

Yes, all riders under the age of 18 are required to wear a ASTM-SEI certified horseback
riding helmet. You can provide your own, or we have helmets available for rent at the barn.

What is the cancellation policy?

We ask for a 7 day notice when a rider chooses to cancel a session. Failure of this advanced notice will deem a $25 cost. Failure to show up for scheduled session, service is non-refundable. There is no cost when cancelled due to weather.

Can I bring my own horse for a lesson? 

Yes, vaccinations records are required.

Do you sell horses?

We occasionally offer horses for sale.
